Whats up true fans of Hip Hop, everyone who's ever dreamed of "blowin up", and all other true believers that Hip Hop still lives. This is just an introduction to the blog I'm about to create. I just want to let everyone out there know that Hip Hop is alive and well, in all of us! The word on the street is that the record industry itself is in vast decline. Maybe this is true. But personally when an album is released by any artist, it has to be marketed properly. You can't collect a download. You can't physically hold it and view the production credits and look at the pictures. To make someone want to buy a CD or Records (which are making a triumphant comeback) there has to be some inscentive offered. Like a collectors gift included with the purchase. Not something that you have to mail in, or go online and type in a code, or some stupid shit like that, but something in the package. Something that says to a fan "remember back in such a year when you bought this album, what a great year that was and you have this momento to show for it." And better yet, as the years will go on, the item will increase in rarety and therefore in value. It won't be hard to save the music industry you just have to think outside of the box! Or even something like this, the first 500,000 albums sold will be numbered autographed collectors issues. Come on people, if artists out there have nothing more to shoot for, then the music biz will really fall off!
